Bought this monitor twice. First, I had no experience with 4K screens in 2018. The monitor was ideal for programming. Then I bought it again this month after using the 4K laptop for a few months. The difference was day and night - in favor of my 4K screen. It literally took my eyes a few days to adjust to the monitor's pixelated display. In addition, it is silent, adjustable, bright and has a perfect curvature. But I wouldn't recommend buying this monitor if you're used to 4K displays. The transition can be frustrating, especially if your OS+ fonts aren't very good at anti-aliasing (Ubuntu by default isn't). MSI's 34-inch 4K monitor could be a good alternative, but it's not curved.
