Review on 🌬️ Enhance Air Quality with FilterBuy 14X14X1 Pleated Furnace Filters by Marc Farrell

The filters appear to be of decent quality - hence the 2 stars but for some reason they are smaller than advertised. 14x14x1 is actually 13.5x13.5x0.75 and 14x20x1 is actually 13.5x19.5x0.75. If they were installed somewhere other than the ceiling, that might be fine. Since mine are on the ceiling they won't stay in place when you try to install them so it's a game of aligning the filter AND closing the lid to keep them in place. Due to their smaller size, the filters also flap up when the air conditioning is turned on and fall back when turned off. My girlfriend got scared, locked herself in the bathroom and was ready to call the police thinking someone was in the house because it sounds like a door is opening and closing! The next problem I have is if the filter falls - the particles trapped in it will be shaken out through the vent, when the unit starts this is the point where the filter isn't as sealed as it should be and unfiltered air bypasses the filter. Filter. I could tape the filters or secure them with cardboard or other material, but that shouldn't be a problem. The manufacturer must sell the CORRECT size filters. It's not wood - it's the standard filter sizes used in every HVAC unit I've had. Why it was "recommended by Revain" is beyond me. Next time I'll spend a few bucks more to get the right sizes.
