Very happy with the filters

Got the filters first Bought from Walmart but then my heater started making weird noises. Strong sucking noise and when the heater stops, the heater duck metal makes noise as if it does not bend and pop. So I did a little research and read up on the Merv settings. The higher the settings the cleaner, but the downside is that the heater can be damaged causing it to work too hard. Then I check how much air is pulled out, almost none. small size - door closing noise when air conditioner and ventilation fan turns on and off

The filters appear to be of decent quality - hence the 2 stars but for some reason they are smaller than advertised. 14x14x1 is actually 13.5x13.5x0.75 and 14x20x1 is actually 13.5x19.5x0.75. If they were installed somewhere other than the ceiling, that might be fine. Since mine are on the ceiling they won't stay in place when you try to install them so it's a game of aligning the filter AND closing the lid to keep them in place. Ideal Filters: Stove Filter

You probably have this in other reviews seen, but the actual size you will receive is a little smaller than what you buy. For example, I bought a pack of 14 x 14 and 18 x 18 but the sizes were 13.5 x 13.5 and 17.25 x 17.25. I wish they were more sincere about this. However, they are PERFECT for my HVAC system.
