I don't think 800 cfm
I'm guessing this fan moves at around 500 cfm. I used the same anemometer and method to rate an older 300 cfm blower and got 280 cfm. As I said, it consumes 2.4 amperes, which corresponds to 1/5 HP. My guess is that there is currently a theoretical BS formula that has nothing to do with reality that gives a rating of 800cfm (maybe 1/5hp, 100% efficient moving dry air with no restrictions at ideal temperature). 500 cfm still moves a lot. air, and I think all those blowers are exaggerating, so I'm content.
