Great price - not as much as Installation instructions

On September 1st, 2019 Texas passed a new law requiring any boat with a "kill switch" to use this thing. I encourage everyone to comply and would like to set an example with my old boat which did not have one and would therefore qualify for this requirement. But do your research before you buy it, or you'll have to pay to have it installed at a boat shop (if they do it at all - they're happy to sell their own parts). You get a blueprint of the switch with the switch, but the switch schematic is limited to showing 2 pins labeled "M" (Magneto) and 2 pins labeled "C" (Coil). As you delve into the installation, you'll discover what these terms mean to you.

Pros
  • Battery isolator
Cons
  • Ugly packaging
