I love the design of this HDMI-based PC KVM Switch

I looked at several HDMI-based KVM Switches designed for computers and finally settled on this one and I am glad i did that. It is well built and housed in a metal exercise box. In fact, the device seems quite heavy. The box also has several small LED indicators for each PC, clearly showing the status of the HDMI/USB connections. Additionally, one element I didn't notice in the ad is a small rectangular box with 4 buttons that connects to the main box via a short micro-USB cable. This rubberized "switch" lets you make changes by pressing any of the four buttons on top. It has a nice sticky bottom so it doesn't move around the table. This little rubberized box makes switching between computers easier than pressing the vertical buttons on the front of the main unit. I use the USB power input to power this KVM with a high quality 12W Apple USB power adapter. Please note that this KVM comes with a dedicated cable to power the device, but does not include a USB power adapter. I agree because I only use high quality USB power adapters with my devices to reduce technical issues. My usage includes frequently switching between a Mac desktop, a Windows desktop and a Windows laptop at 1080p. At this resolution, switching was quick and smooth, with no hiccups when switching. I also use my own high quality USB-B cables (although 5 USB cables were included) along with high quality HDMI cables for all video connections. Right now I am giving this KVM 5 stars for its great features, build quality and performance. If it fails I'll downvote the rating, but so far I'm really enjoying this HDMI-based KVM!
