Every HDMI KVM seems to have a problem with this. This is my fifth KVM attempt. EDID does not work on this KVM. When switching between computers, the monitor is disconnected from PC1 and connected to PC2. This causes the windows to move when using dual monitors (e.g. a laptop screen with an external monitor). Works great! What's nice is that it supports UHD ("4K") at 60Hz and works with FreeSync. Also, it works great with the Revain Basics 12W 5V/2.4A USB power adapter with my backlit keyboard, which was not possible with unpowered KVM switches. I am using this with a 27" x 27" monitor to connect 4 computers to a set of peripherals. Excellent quality. The small rubberized remote sits perfectly on my desk and switching between computers works exactly as intended. Setup was quick and easy. Works as advertised. A few notes: 1) It looks like this device can also be powered via HDMI and/or USB. The power adapter is great, but I don't even use it. I think it is cool. 2) I have 3 Raspberry Pi 4 devices connected and as soon as the screen expires on the Pi, the KVM does not pass any HDMI signal from it when it wakes up.
