I have used this in the field multiple times and would not play without it. This face mask has taken multiple shots directly to the face/mouth and it still looks brand new. Zero damage from any of the impacts, and worked as intended. My only gripe is I have to pull the straps in the back a little higher on my head to keep everything up. If you keep the straps in the middle back of your head, everything slides down. You notice the tension when you first try it on. However, in the middle of a game, you don't notice it at all. From all the horror stories I've heard about people getting hit in the teeth with a BB. This is a must for every time playing. Definitely would recommend and purchase again.
