Pro Availability: Works with all my devices. Ease of installation. Cons: The app is a bit clunky. There's a learning curve. It comes with a power cord but no power adapter. with some devices, but other devices require that you still have the original remote control. I bought this device for my home theater because I lost the Sony remote control for my Blu-ray player. I've always wanted a universal smart remote, but the cost of getting started with the Harmony remote is very high. I had an old Android phone so I decided to use it as a smart remote control. Luckily it paired with a Sony Blu-ray player right out of the box, but my projector and receiver only worked partially, so I had to program a few buttons. The way you program the button is to point the remote at the IR blaster hub with the button you want. If you do not have a remote control, this process will not work. The only thing I could compare this to is the Roku cell phone remote, which is still my favorite thing to use for Roku. I don't think it can't be beat for the price, but if you could afford Logitech's full Harmony remote package, which costs around $300, I think you'd be happier. I don't have Alexa so I can't comment on how well it fits. I'll still give a four star rating because, as I said, at this price point I don't think it can be beat.
