Square but not perfect
Square is perfectly square as far as I can tell after some measurements and tests. However, the long side of the square was inserted into the "base" at an angle, so it deviates a total of about 1/16 of an inch along the side of the square. I know this doesn't affect squareness, but it's still a disadvantage. At $12.50 I think it's a good price, but I've seen other squares that are a bit more expensive and might be perfect. In other words, I wouldn't buy a Robert Larson square again, but that's enough for now.
