Simple and lightweight
I bought this to pair my Lowrance Hook 5 with my Minnkota Fortrex which I bought used. At first I got feedback that my screen stopped working when I pressed the power button on the motor (not that this would be a problem with this adapter and more so with the trolling motor) but as soon as I disconnected (swapped/relocated) the sensor ) got wires from the power motor wires this problem has stopped. Another way of saying the same thing is that the sensor cable is not routed and does not run near the trolling motor power cable.
