I bought this to pair my Lowrance Hook 5 with my Minnkota Fortrex which I bought used. At first I got feedback that my screen stopped working when I pressed the power button on the motor (not that this would be a problem with this adapter and more so with the trolling motor) but as soon as I disconnected (swapped/relocated) the sensor ) got wires from the power motor wires this problem has stopped. I assume the cable is fine but it only gets one star because Minn-Kota has completely decayed. I have a Minn-Kota Terrova with a built in sensor, not even 10 months old.
