I like them but I keep coming back Why I like them: 1. Natural suede2. Well fitting and shaped boot (order your shoe size - I wear Nike 9 shoes, I wear Riedell 8 boots and 8-8.5 dress shoes. Skates should fit snugly but not too tight as they can hurt your toes. . 3. Wheels OUTSIDE Wheels are super soft, designed for asphalt/pavement You will need stiffer wheels and/or additional bearings (sold separately) for a better ride on the rink 4. Super Cute - if cute is a factor for you 5. Casters seem to be of good quality 6. Riedell MAKES GREAT BOOTS this is a great skate/brand for the casual skater or anyone looking to get back into skating not ABEC7 as advertised - listing is incorrect but Riedell only sells them with ABEC5.) See image on box label. so eventually someone changed them and the nuts used were cheap ones that can't be over tightened - I had the same problem with another pair of pre-assembled skates. But the pink and teal combo is a cute combo, I'm just not a fan of pink and since I don't want to remove the wheels I can't test if they fit. NOT a determining factor, but the small Moxie "M" on the side of only ONE of the skates is CUT OFF - this is not black embroidery or black lining, this is a HOLE in the boot. I'm a regular skater, I've gotten much nicer pro quality skates for about the same price or a little more, so I'm a little disappointed by Riedell with these skates. For the price I would like a better plate and a little more structure/support. Wrong color wheels really bother me so I think if I decide I really need them I'll order locally.
