Had high hopes based on the positive reviews here, but this unit is complete junk and I will be sending it back. I have a very similar unit from Dayton Audio, a 2.1 amp that delivers 50 watts each to the left and right channels, plus 100 watts to a separate subwoofer channel. Fosi was supposed to replace a dead 100 watt amp from a powered subwoofer, so I have two points of reference. First of all, this thing can't even get close to 100 watts. My subwoofer, cranked all the way up, barely whispered. A similar DA device gets so loud that the windows rattle. The old plate amplifier had similar characteristics. Second, it's equipped with one of the worst power supplies I've seen on any of these Class D amps. . I checked the power supply with my DA amp and the same problem was present. None of the amps interfered when used with my better DA power supply. I know good power supplies can be quite expensive, but for the Fosi price I was expecting something at least decent. Anyway, Fosi is a waste of money at half the price.
