My husband loves these pants. Bought a second pair. He normally wears a 2XL but we bought 3Xl. Good thing we did. Almost too small but there is enough stretch in material and they don’t look too terribly tight. He has large belly. Lol. We’ve never bought anything like this before so we aren’t really sure how tight they are suppose to fit. He can bend and squat with ease. Waistband doesn’t cause belly overhang. He wears these to metal detect on the beach in the sand and water. They have a little padding at the knee which helps him when digging in the sand. He said they were warm in water temperature around 60 degrees. That’s the coldest water he’s been in. He wore them all day on the beach with temperatures around 79 degrees and sunny. He said he didn’t get too hot. Sand just comes right out when you rinse off. When they dry he just shakes them out. I machine was in cold water and so far no problems. I do not put them in the dryer. He’s worn these several times since we got them. So far so good. Hope this is helpful.
