I weld quite a bit. Flux core that is slightly more complex than mig. This mess, this spatter, is often difficult to remove, both on the gun (consumables) and on the part to be welded. Since using it, my tips and nozzle are unnaturally clean, but I've found I still have to remove the nozzle as often as I used to just to get rid of residual gel. I've also found that I can use just the tiniest bits of this gel and mask a very small area (very thin) which is then protected from weld spatter with flux cored wire. At the rate at which I use this gel it should last a very long time. Its usefulness, low price and durability make it a great product: I have only good things to say about it and it is very easy to recommend.
