I had high hopes for this as the KitchenAid accessories performed well. No spiralizer. As another reviewer pointed out, it just doesn't get along with beets and turnips. It looks like the blade is creating too much friction or maybe not sharp enough causing the tooth to unwrap. I've tried half a dozen beets and turnips, all with the same result. I had the same problem with sweet potatoes. It just doesn't work with tougher veggies. Zucchini, apples, and white potatoes all worked well. Fortification of very limited use. I expected more from KitchenAid.
