did not work on win 10 monitor;

There were no instructions but there was a disk with an executable for the driver. This means that if you need to use it to connect to a monitor, you'll first need to connect a *different* monitor (presumably one that doesn't need a 15-pin connector) to your computer so you can install the driver (If you had another monitor, why do I need this converter?). but after installing the driver it still doesn't work with Windows 10. Also, there is absolutely no advice on where to connect the USB port, but we've tried them all. I do not recommend.
