Solved my subwoofer not working with L&R inputs!
Most powered subwoofers with an auto power off feature have trouble "turning on”. My Yamaha subwoofer will not turn on. I could only hear it when I unplugged the power and plugged it back in. It then stopped working a few minutes later. I used an RCA cable from my Onkyo receiver to the subwoofer (which had 2 inputs for L/Mono and R). Then I read on an online audio forum that this is a very common problem! One solution was to buy an RCA splitter cable and connect it to both subwoofer inputs. This solved my problem and now I'm finally enjoying my subwoofer. Perfect!
