Never dries, molds quickly. Also fire.

When I first got this and started using it I thought it was great. It's a good size, nice design and I liked the look of natural wood and fibers. However, this is where the error comes into play. Because it is natural wood and fibers, and wood is not sealed with anything, it absorbs water like a sponge. Even after the first use, this problem was evident, but I figured it would definitely dry out. It's not like this. Is always. It just stays wet. If you're the kind of person who likes to put away their cleaning supplies instead of leaving them strewn on the counter, you know that the damp nature of the brush combined with the dark environment of your closet or drawer will quickly lead to mildew. general. Hooray! Because mold is exactly what I need on a brush to get rid of dirt on things I'm putting in my mouth. In fact, I think the brush I use to clean pots and pans is more hygienic than using this brush. I feel this is partly my own stupidity. I cleaned the brush and cleaned it as best I could to get rid of the mold. Then I thought it would happen again if I didn't do anything to dry it out. So I figured I'd just heat it up in the microwave like my real sponge. DO NOT MICROWAVE THIS BRUSH. She's on fire, dammit. yes, burns. My house was filled with the most acrid, poisonous, terrifying smoke. I deleted it and kept everything except the brush, which I shouldn't get upset about as I should have just thrown it up the chimney when it arrived. I cannot recommend this brush.
