I had reservations about buying these pickle pouches but decided to take a chance. It was a big mistake. After putting an 18-pound turkey in it and salting the solution, I found the bag was leaking at one of the seams. Other customers were complaining about the same issue and I should have listened. Luckily, I spotted the leak right away and used a second bag to prevent a refrigerator disaster. So salting a turkey cost me twice as much. According to the manufacturer, this package is new and improved. Engineers have to work on the product to find out why the seams are leaking. It is not improved in my definition of improvements. I am very disappointed in this product and will not buy it again. To the reader: be careful - this product is likely to be phased out, creating a potential mess and believe me you have better things to do. two days before Thanksgiving. Try a different manufacturer.
