I bought this bidet for my wife because she always complains about the sensitivity around her "area" when she wipes after two seconds of walking. I think this would be a good way for them to clean their area more thoroughly and wipe less. This goal will definitely be achieved. It also provides a refreshing feel in that area with cold water. The cold water hammer was something that definitely bothered me since this model doesn't use a hot water source at all, but it didn't seem like a big deal. In fact, this turned out to be a plus. What was a huge problem was the water pressure. When installed, it has the same source as the lavatory toilet, so it works at practically full pressure. Installed according to the instructions, the thread may be a little painful. I didn't fucking enjoy it. There isn't enough variation on the activation handle to balance the water pressure. I had to try it myself before I even thought of giving it to my wife. Unfortunately, the main toilet valve cannot be easily adjusted. If you tighten the valve to the point where the bidet dispenses water at a comfortable pressure, the toilet will take forever to fill due to the low pressure. The easy fix was to go to Home Depot and buy a built in rotary valve just for the bidet itself. (Photo attached) The part was expensive, about $11, but it worked. This way you can leave the main valve for the toilet at full pressure and only adjust the pressure going to the bidet. Aside from that extra detail and the need to carefully set the pressure through trial and error, installation was a breeze for anyone who has ever installed plumbing etc. Just make sure you turn off the water and flush the toilet on your toilet. Right, otherwise you'll have a big wet mess in your bathroom. Quality control may require some work. The decorative blue stickers began to peel off after a few months, but this does not affect the bidet's performance. I also have a water softener so I've never had to deal with scale or rust. But I see this being a problem for homes that don't have this. The self-cleaning nozzle works well, but we still clean it for about a week or two. This is a great product. After I set everything up correctly and my wife started using it, she can't imagine going to the bathroom without him again. It's also great for hemorrhoids due to its cooling effect, the holdover from your pregnancy. It would be nice if there was a built in valve in the plumbing line that comes with it.
