Review on πŸ§„ NexTrend Generation 3 Clear Garlic Twister by Sara Hemp

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Won't go back to old presses

This garlic press works very well, easy to use and easy to clean. It takes a little experimentation to figure out how to quickly and easily extract the garlic after pressing it. (Almost every time I cook with garlic, I also use some white wine, and I use some wine to rinse out the garlic press and get the remaining juice/oil out.) This press gives a much finer and more even garlic press than a traditional garlic press style and leaves no garlic unpressed like traditional presses. Haven't tried ginger, I still like ginger in chunks or slices (for me, a ginger grater would make more sense if that's what you want). I've seen other reviews saying you have to chop large cloves of garlic and you can only put 3 cloves or so in it. I didn't think so. I put 4 large cloves in uncut the first time around and had no problem grinding them up. It takes more arm strength to do so much at once, but if you have arm strength, everything works great. Bottom Line: Unless it breaks, and I see no reason why it might, this is the last garlic press I will ever buy. Let me know if you have any questions. :)

Pros
  • Sturdy clear polycarbonate construction
Cons
  • I vaguely remember
