If you're just looking for a standard grease gun, this is it. I got this to replace an old worn standard shotgun my dad gave me years ago. It comes with a metal tube and an oiler that you simply attach to the top of the gun. You should ensure that the fitting is firmly attached to the barrel before screwing it onto the gun so that grease does not spill out of the bottom of the fitting when you inflate the gun. The pistol uses the standard 14 oz. Grease cartridges and easy to load. Just follow the instructions that came with the gun. After assembling mine I oiled my brush and the gun seemed to work fine. This gun has a hard hose and my old one had a flexible rubber hose which I kept in case I ever want to change hoses but for now the hose that came with this gun works fine. I don't think you will find a better value standard grease gun at this price point.
