It is better to buy a new pan with the drain pre-installed.
Leak. Bottom line: if it flows, it doesn't work. As a result, I replaced the transmission pan with a pre-installed plug. I've tried sealing the universal plug with a copper washer, sealing the screw with thread sealant, but it's still leaking. Not worth the disappointment. It is better to buy a new pan with a drain plug pre-installed.
