Review on LG 34WK95U W 34 Class UltraWide 5120x2160p 21:9 Monitor by Harald Clark

Revainrating 1 out of 5

Last 3 months, 2 months warranty and they caused body damage.

Additional customer service updates: LG has stated that they will repair and return the monitor but they don't know when and since they are now dropping the monitor and have case damage it will be shipped with an aesthetically pleasing appearance because they are covered by the policy does not accept this and there are no refunds for it. Oh my god, it's impossible to hate the company more than I do now after hearing this. This is a total disregard for consumer rights! This company is worse! DO NOT BUY! The monitor had problems with the panel after 3 months of use, then went for warranty repair, came back a month later completely broken with traces of a drop on the side and a cracked front glass. I send it back the next day and it's been a month now with no sign, no email, no calls from LG, nothing. I've already bought a replacement and want my money back, so LG support just won't reply to my messages anymore, they won't refund and won't send back the repaired monitor. Avoid this headache, don't buy it! First review: I bought mine about 3 months ago, I've already contacted LG for support, they will ship the box to my address and I need to send it in to have it repaired. A day to 3 months later this monitor started behaving strangely, all of a sudden USB-C stopped working as a display, it still charges my MacBook Pro but doesn't recognize it as a connected display anymore. Then I added a DisplayPort cable, everything worked, and I noticed a lot of horizontal lines on the screen (see picture), everything goes like this. At first I thought it might be a cable or something, so I unplugged everything and rebooted. Monitor, in the monitor settings menu, I see that the horizontal lines, well, it's not because anything is plugged in, the monitor just disappeared. It's very annoying having to go through the support process to fix this but the tricky part is I use it professionally and can't do without an extra monitor then I have to buy another replacement while this gets fixed . --- UPDATE 06/01/2020 --- After about 20 days of waiting, they sent the monitor back. As you can see from the photos there is one with dead pixels on the screen, then two photos showing the perfect condition that I send to the monitor in the box and the last photo when I turned it on after it was serviced came. Clear. The monitor was damaged by either service or UPS shipping. Despite the FRAGILE stickers all over the box, all I could see on this screen after turning it on was this broken image. Also, LG's support system is so broken it doesn't save the apartment number, so the UPS guy went all out. a way to talk to the manager to find my apartment added to the ticket, online and by phone. I am waiting for them to send me a new label to send it back and hopefully they will send me a working unit so I don't have high expectations of this, I may have to go to Apple and buy their new monitor as LG might take it too long and i need it to work. Unfortunately, I can't recommend it, mainly due to poor durability and a terrible lack of support. by LG.
