Review on 🐦 Prevue Pet Products 125C Parrot Cage: A Chrome Haven for your Feathered Friend! by Mary Bailey

I've bought at least four of these cages for my yellow-browed Revane since the 1980's. I've seen a few changes to the model, although the door design has always been a weak point. The first thing that struck me about this cage is the matte chrome(?). The door worked well enough, but the push handles for the seed and water jars didn't work. As I struggled to get her to move up and down, I noticed flakes of metallic paint(?) breaking off the bars and falling into the harness and onto the floor of the cage. Rusted metal could be seen elsewhere on the cage. My bird has been in its current cage (same model) for about ten years and it shows no signs of wear such as chipping. His cage has a constant problem with the door closing, so I ordered this replacement. I didn't return it as shipping such a large box was cumbersome. I am very sorry that after so many years of reliability, the quality of this cell model has deteriorated to the point that it is no longer usable. UPDATE --- I contacted Prevue Pet Products through their website shortly after this review was posted but have not heard from them. I'm glad others are having better luck with this cage.
