Red heart yarn has always been around, and with good reason. It matches in color and quality. The price is reasonable. It's widely used and makes it easy to pick up more yarn if you're a little short on a project or need to make a second pillow etc to match the previous one. All kinds of beautiful and exotic yarns are now available and I love using them, but often Red Heart yarn is what I need. It's also great if you're teaching someone to knit or crochet. Children love all colors. I always keep a few Worsted Reading Heart books on hand in case I have an unexpected idea I want to implement.
