Review on πŸ’§ CS-FLUX Reballing Liquid Flux: Low Viscosity, Halogen-Free Solution for BGA Component Rework & Reflow - 5g, Perfect for VGA GPU Repairs by Kevin Carr

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Worked well for reflow.

Great for PS3 Reflow. It is applied thinner than other fluxes so it flows well when heated. It leaves a dusty white residue when it dries, but that's easily removed with a little IPA. It has a really bad smell so make sure you keep it sealed in a bag when not in use and work in a well ventilated area.

Pros
  • CS-FLUX is very tacky and specially designed to keep the solder balls in the stencil during the reballing process. It is also ideal for reflowing BGA components (using a heat gun) when the required reballing equipment is not available. Its liquid nature makes it ideal for micro-soldering, even for inexperienced technicians.
Cons
  • Expensive
