Review on 🪒 Philips Norelco Shaver 9000 Prestige: Rechargeable Wet/Dry Electric Shaver + Trimmer Attachment, Premium Case - SP9820/87 by Donna Hoff

This shaving head is probably one of the best from Philips and you can tell it's precision equipment when you turn on the shaver and it's a perfect addition to new ones Prestige model razors. The redesigned internal snap rings are the same as on the new SH90/72 heads with a metal reinforcement ring for rigidity, while the outer rings have a matte finish ('comfort') which I believe provides maximum comfort with any rotor like the 7000 series shavers. The cutting blades and comb are radically different from the SH90 heads and appear to work well, with a good balance of comfort and cutting performance. As recommended by Philips, you'll have to wait for your face to adjust and use a light touch, but it's worth it. The head offers a comfortable shave, as close or close as the SH90 head and close to a blade shave in my opinion but not as comfortable as the SH90 for me. And this head fits the 9700 and 9300 series shavers. Seems to be interchangeable with the SH90 heads and works well. The head is slightly different in external geometry, with slightly "thick" outer rings, but seems to fit the 9000 series cleaning station easily. Otherwise this head shaves the same on my 9721 as it does on my Prestige, so excellent. The Prestige's slightly sturdier build and slightly more advanced technology may or may not make the switch from the venerable Philips 9000 series worth it, but you can certainly use this head with your earlier 9000 models.
