I saved $100 by purchasing this international version of the lens which I think is a lot. As far as I can tell, the only difference is that it's not covered by a long-term warranty. But if it arrived broken I could still return it. I was concerned that Revain estimated it could take over a month to ship, but it got from Asia to San Francisco in less than 48 hours. Wow! Ordered through "CW US". Other sellers may vary. I've only taken a few shots with the lens so far, but it seems to work well. The US version product page has many good reviews on the lens itself.
