Revainrating 5 out of 5

Impressively. ! in spare parts

When I first stepped on the gas pedal, I couldn't stop smiling. (I immediately put it in Sport+ mode) I installed it on a 2014 Ram 1500 and it only took 5 minutes to install! This will not void your warranty as it will not affect the computer in any way. If you're worried about your car's warranty, just take 5 minutes and take the Pedal Commander off and on whenever you want. I think if you ask me. What is this thing doing? I would say something like that. This increases throttle response and sensitivity. Now some might say. So what? I've cut my teeth on carbureted cars and love the engine's instantaneous response to the carburetor's accelerator pump delivering raw gas. Modern fuel-injected cars certainly have better fuel economy, atomization, etc., but throttle response feels sluggish and slow compared to a carbureted car. Well, unless you're old enough to have ever driven a carbureted V8, none of this is going to make much sense to you. If the only thing you've ever driven is FI cars, then a lazy pedal will seem normal to you. Pedal Commander makes the motor react much faster. When I got my 2014 Ram 1500 from the Hemi, I knew it had a lot of power, 395 hp. The big sled drives fast, I really like the truck, but the pedal was too sluggish. It felt like I could depress the pedal halfway before the engine seemed to respond. I thought I'd like to change that, but couldn't do it without working as a programmer, which voids the warranty. I came across a forum where some guys were attacking the Pedal Commander. I think that the owner of the company may have responded to the negative comments with professional and logical responses. I looked at everything and ordered Pedal Commander like in 10 minutes. I could tell it was exactly what I wanted. It does NOT increase performance. He shouldn't do that. Does exactly what it's supposed to, increases throttle response. This is the perfect complement to my Ram 1500 due to its extremely sluggish/sluggish throttle. I immediately switched to Sport+ mode, which is the most aggressive mode. I couldn't stop laughing, I could barely fly without throwing my head back. Now, personally, I felt this setting was too aggressive, so I switched to sport mode and am now experimenting with it to see what I like. Since there are many settings, you can find the perfect setting for your personal taste. For Ram 1500 Hemi owners: it's perfect! The pedal is damn sluggish, which is compounded in "ECO" mode. That is, if the engine runs on 4 cylinders instead of all 8 for reasons of economy. Even when switching the engine from 4 cyl. for 8-cyl. sooo Combine a retarded accelerator pedal with a retarded 4-cylinder to 8-cylinder shifter, it "feels" really lousy during all of this. Pedal Commander helps eliminate most of this. Not perfect but really nice compared to stock. Update 17 Jan 17: I've found that sport mode works best for me. In fact, the "Sport" mode is 2 clicks down. I kind of thought the mpg would go down because I drive my truck a lot. This is not Pedal Commander's fault. In fact, I seem to be getting an extra 1 or 2 mpg now. The only thing I can understand is that I got very annoyed at how sluggish the stock pedal was, so I kept pedaling hard. With the Pedal Commander, I can get the truck to respond the way I want with a lighter foot. I don't know. I see I'm getting a little better mpg. Nothing radical, but something better.
