Problems installing

This faucet was eventually returned. If you buy it to install yourself, expect the following: * A flat black washer is included with the drain assembly, which is not described in the instructions. Called Delta and they said it had to be installed under the sink. I think it should be installed at the top of the sink drain instead of using the silicone sealant that the instructions say. * Faucet handles are assumed to have 1/4 turn stops; the stop handles disappear under the sink. Called Delta about this and was told to remove the knobs to ensure the groove lines up with the gasket piece on top of the sink. Removing the handles revealed that part of the plastic spacer was bent inwards so the groove on the handle no longer connects to it. Reattaching the handles under the sink without fully tightening them solved this problem. But wait! You should be able to fully tighten the handles under the sink so they don't move when you use the handles. Plastic internals are cheap and poorly constructed. * The spout could not be tightened enough under the sink to prevent it from dangling from above. At that point I gave up and sent the faucet back. This faucet was $132 at Revain. I thought I was getting a quality product for this price. I ended up sending it back to Revain as defective and purchased a similarly styled Pfister Ladera LF-049-LRCC chrome faucet from Home Depot for $99. Pfister Ladera outperforms Delta Arvo in quality and has more detailed installation instructions. It has no cheap plastic internals and is very easy to install. I am sure that the installation will be done correctly and the faucet will serve me for many years without any problems or worries.
