later I left this locked on my bike for a month and it refused to open. Keyways and tumblers tend to snap, especially the deepest ones. Instead of going crazy like a lot of the reviewers here, I tested the problem - took some WD40 and machined it into the keyway - you know what? Opened immediately after three or four minutes and two shots of WD40 while turning the key back and forth. Let's hope regular lubrication of the locking mechanism will help protect this thing from the angle grinder in the future.
