Much better than the plastic that comes with most reverse osmosis systems
My reverse osmosis system was very well made with the exception of the feed valve - it was plastic and I would have felt uncomfortable using it. Saw and ordered and was very impressed with the quality of the product received. There are still downsides to all reverse osmosis systems - plastic hoses and quick disconnects are a constant problem, but at least they provide reliable shut-off for the rest of the system.
