Easy connection. good for diagnostic, test and measurement tools
Mounts next to existing signal light. There are two connectors on the back of the control panel that mate with the mounting holes of this unit. I cut a hole, installed it and was a little annoyed that the end didn't go through the panel - flush at best. When connected, it immediately showed the full charge status of the battery. I haven't driven the car long enough to compare the gauge to the battery level, but I have no reason to doubt it.
