5/5 ergonomic 5/5 easy to hold 5/5 comfortable 5/5 overall This is a very cute set of crochet hooks. I am very impressed with the quality of the case and the accessories that came with it. There is also a size chart on the back of the clip. This will be a very good gift for the knitter in your life. The packaging is very beautiful. Just throw in some good yarn or a gift certificate if you're feeling particularly generous. They are crocheted a bit between the Susan Bates style and the Boye style. I prefer the Susan Bates style hook and love using it. I think going to them from any hook would be a HUGE upgrade. Edit: After using them for a while I spontaneously had to tell a friend this about them - I've made a few patterns out of cotton and various economy wools and so far I LOVE them. They don't cut into the yarn like some modern built-in hooks by Susan Bates. My vintage hooks have been lost or borrowed and they feel just as good and smooth as these hooks but without the outrageous prices I recently sold them for. I like the handle too. They are shorter, but I don't find them difficult to work with. They also help me to loosen my grip and stitches a bit which makes knitting really comfortable as it reduces hand fatigue. Suitcase and scissors are good. It also has a cut out size guide on the back so you can easily switch between Japanese size, millimeter size and letter size.
