Review on 💻 Black USB Power Line Monitor - Powertronics Probe 100+ by Doug Mancilla

As long as the LEDs on the physical device are lit to indicate that the device is doing something, my goal for the device was to use the promised logging feature to track down the root cause of my problem over time . I could not run or install the included logging software on my PC. I have tried to contact Powertronics for support twice within three weeks. There was no response to my attempts. I am returning the device. Follow-up: I received a message from Powertronics after posting the above (before the product return was complete). They provided me with a link to software that should be compatible with my version of Windows. I downloaded and tried to run. The software still does not work on my computer. The Windows log indicates a .NET platform error/conflict. Powertronics researches. I have upgraded my original rating from one star to two stars based on their contact and attempt to help. I will update this review again based on their maximum ability to help me solve my problem. Conclusion: Ultimately, Powertronics was unable to solve my problem with their software as they could not reproduce my problem. However, I was able to create my own (raw) VB application to receive serial data from Probe 100+ and process it according to my needs. Since I can get through, I leave the device. However, I'm giving a two-star rating because it took me almost two months to come to a conclusion, mainly due to the slow and inefficient support.
