Review on 🚿 Moen T2191BG Align Posi-Temp Pressure Balancing Tub and Shower Valve Trim Kit, Valve Required, Brushed Gold by Jared Tovar

One star Cons: The valve cover and caps were easy to install but the grip set screw was extremely difficult to screw in. Plastic insert (supplied) and the grub screw can be screwed into the recessed inside of the underside of the handle. Really silly design and frustrating to have planted and screwed it down. Minus Another star: after tightening the handle with a set screw on the valve, the handle sits askew on the valve with one side of the handle being closer to the valve cover than the other. Minus One more star: After tightening the locking screw, the handle has almost 2.5 cm of play. The screw must not be tightened any further. That is completely unacceptable to me. Minus the fourth star: the cost of this cheap thing! You would think that for the money ($64.77 as of 11/29/17) a better design could be used. I cannot recommend this Moen valve cover. The only reason I think it has so many good reviews is because it looks good on the shower screen. Also the design itself is terrible.
