Review on LG 49WL95C-W 49-Inch Curved Ultrawide 5120x1440p Monitor with Tilt and Height Adjustment by Marcelo Farmer

Best screen for non-gamers

People buy a lot of Mac dongles and adapters, but with a single USB-C connection, I can not only charge my Mac, but also use the various USB ports built into the display. This is a display as well as a charger and adapter. My old MacBook Air ran with two displays and this caused one of the monitors to turn off intermittently. I know some people have this problem, but it's not because of the monitor, it's because the MBA doesn't support dual monitor display. You can check this by looking for your Mac's specs. I quickly switched to a MacBook Pro to solve this power failure problem. When I used a Macbook Air without USB-c, I used a Mini Displayport to HDMI adapter cable. Everything is displayed at 3840x1080 instead of 5120x. It looks big enough. The monitor isn't as pixel-perfect as the Mac's display, but it's worth the trade-off. Compared to two 23-inch displays, one 49-inch display is much better. With no gap in the middle, the ultra-wide monitor can be effectively used as three monitors. Allows use of the left, middle and right sides of the monitor. When displaying with two monitors, only the left or the right monitor can generally be used. Nobody uses the middle of two monitors, where there is a gap. Half of the image is on one screen and half is on the other. My only complaint right now is that you can't change the volume directly from the Mac keyboard. I hope there is a software update for it!
