When testing circuits it's great to be able to make sure they're tight, but sometimes you don't have the ability to disconnect the circuit to do this. It helps with that. The instrument has a great case and is holding up well after several uses over the past few weeks. The device feels good in the hand and works perfectly. Having the right charger is good, and USB charging is better than most because it's easy to charge on the go. The bits fit right in and I haven't had a single failure. The tips are not trying to be rounded and match the screws very well. The controls are simple and the light works well in the panels. The customizable settings are easy to use, but that's the only thing holding it back from a five-star rating, and also its only annoyance. The torque setting doesn't have a number that matches the torque published on either tool, so you'll have to guess either. by trial and error or by testing with another device. A reasonable number of inch-pounds of torque (or even Newtons so I can convert) on the ring instead of 1, 2, 3 etc would make this a five star tool and a better product in my opinion. I didn't find the torque dropping with battery charge, which is great. Great tool, good product otherwise brand discontinued. I liked it and use it fairly regularly.
