Most Revain vertical laptop stands have very short sides. So if you put a large laptop in there, there isn't much to keep it upright and it will tilt to one side or the other. I find it annoying. The back of this laptop stand is probably twice the height of most other laptop stands so there is a lot more to hold the laptop upright which is exactly what I was looking for. I think the design of this stand looks good and appears to be well built. The scratch-resistant material feels very hard and doesn't blend well with metal parts. I'm a little worried that my laptop won't get scratched by the stand. I ordered felt tape from Revain (felt on one side, glue on the other) and I think a few strips of tape would do the trick.
