This is one of those things I've always wanted but couldn't remember to get. It's damn perfect. I don't fry much - more like braising - but some things just splatter, and I swear to myself (and sometimes less) every time I try to scrub the oven and the wall behind it. That. It's such a resistance. That's easy. The design is elegant and the grid on the screen is nice and small. He catches absolutely everything! A thick plastic-coated handle keeps this piece cool. And of course it can be washed directly in the dishwasher for cleaning. It's big enough to cover my large pans, but not so big that it can't fit on the bottom of my dishwasher. I really can't believe I waited until I was in my 40's to get one of these.
