In general I liked these crimpers. I had to use larger 1/0 4awg wire and it worked fine. The hammer bar is too small for the chamber, so it sometimes gets caught on the sides when struck with a hammer. You'll need something like a flathead screwdriver to pry it back off. The main issue I have is that after about 30 grommets in the last 18 months the pin on the back has completely broken off. This doesn't scrap the whole tool, but it does make it a bit awkward to use now that the spring no longer applies tension to push the striker rod down to hold the nose. But in an emergency it still works, you can simply look around for a slightly more expensive version with a stronger spring pin at the back.
