This is a really good running shoe (although a bit pricey), I have a men's size 9 in these shoes and they ended up being almost a full size too big for me. At Nike I wear solid men's 9 (women's 10.5). At Adidas I usually wear a men's 8.5. They seem to fit me a little better than Adidas. Keep this in mind when choosing your size. That was my experience. My foot is wide for a woman's foot and appears to be a classic D width (men's medium). The toe is comfortable and spacious and does not protrude at the tip. If that's your preference, you'll probably love this shoe. They are also relatively light. In Sz 9, each shoe weighs 6 ounces. The outsole pattern is comfortable and should offer durability without being overly aggressive. The mesh material on the toe feels breathable and the boot itself has a nice design that isn't too flashy or too plain. You can see the dark blue/royal blue cross pattern in the photos. I wasn't sure if I would personally like it, but the pattern seemed more subtle when I held them in my hands. I also appreciate a nice little scotchlight or similar reflective element on the back of the heel. Visibility certainly helps runners when paired with a reflective vest or jacket when running at dawn or dusk. The shoes are expensive but appear to be very well made - there is no excess glue, the stitching looks nice and strong, the materials used are reasonable. for sports / intended use. The shoe almost looks like a kind of water shoe and has a continuous piece on the insole instead of a removable insole. A very well made pair of shoes that should work right out of the box. I don't expect much hacking involved. However, if they don't feel good in store or when you first try them on, I'm not sure how much real break-in you can expect. I wanted a size 9 to fit me but they were too big for me to enjoy.
