10/46 10 speed works well and shifts without problems on my Shimano Deor 6000 SGS. No switch extension adapter required. I don't see any difference shifting from my swapped 10/42 Shimano 10 speed cassette other than the chain falling behind in the 11/46 and 11/42 gears, but that doesn't really bother me. I've had the cassette for over a month and maybe 150 miles. I've gone from a 30T chainring to a 28T chainring in combination with a 46T sprocket, giving me climbing ability that is close or equal to that of a 12T sprocket, but at much less cost if i switch to 12 speed. My bike is a budget bike and not worth installing high end components so this was a very good alternative. 5 stars doesn't mean it's the best, but it's very good for a budget bike.
