Reevaluation passes the test.
Disclosure: the first set I received had some real issues with stitching. To their credit, they reached out immediately and offered to replace it. My reevaluation is that they are good straps and are worth considering. The mechanism is made well, and the stitching on the replacement is much better than the original copy.
