Review on Efficient Stainless Steel Mezzaluna Chopper: Double Blade Carving Knife for Precise Cuts (10 Inches) by John Mahfood

If you like salad confetti, you'll probably like this

I don't know who decided that we have to cut our salad into small pieces in order to eat it. Probably a woman in a costume trying to grab a large piece of lettuce at a fancy restaurant and ended up with salad dressing on her cheek or chest. But hey, give it a fancy name like Mezzaluna (half moon) and we'll try it out. I received this as a gift. This product does exactly what it promises. He cuts the lettuce into smaller pieces. If you start with a large stack, it will get stuck between the blades and will need to be freed periodically. My problem is that the pieces get too small to pierce with a fork and too big to spoon with a fork. Chopped lettuce is easier to eat with a spoon. It's also really big to pack away. Mine is on the back so people can see it and think I'm a great cook. Durable handles. Sharp blades (be careful, the corners are very sharp and not protected). But do we really have to cut our lettuce?

Pros
  • . Not cheap but decent
Cons
  • Nothing
