I recently bought a new refurbished PC and was concerned about the possibility of using two monitors with it. I bought two different DVI graphics cards but both were large for the small case I had. I noticed two ports on the back of the machine that weren't on my very old PC, they were labeled DP. After some research I realized I could buy these cables for my DP to DVI monitors, so all I needed was one cable for each monitor and I was good to go. I ordered these two cables and my setup worked perfectly.
