Review on 🐴 Horse Latch-Hook Kit by Caron Classics - 20" X 30 by Kristen Reid

I bought this kit for my parents when they were stuck at home. My dad has been making latch hook kits for years. Our whole family has examples of his work. This set makes him tear his hair out. There is no pattern on the back. The back is plain white with blue lines running across and down to form smaller squares. Yarn isn't divided into colors, and if you spend hours separating colors yourself, nothing tells you which color of yarn to put on the canvas. That's how you see it in the picture. This is madness! the other kits, that he produced always contained a drawing on canvas. Usually the thread colors were separated and there was a guide to make it clear which thread colors would match the color on the canvas. But this kit is a terrible joke. If my mom hadn't already opened up all the yarn and sorted it into different paper cups (yes, can you imagine?), I would have told them to wrap it up so I could send it back. I'm not even sure why I gave him 2 runs. I was generous.
